PLEASE READ DESCRIPTIONS AND FAQS AND POLICIES BEFORE PURCHASING! EVERYTHING IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE. 1 CHONKY PER ORDER. IF PURCHASING MULTIPLE CHONKIES PER ORDER, ADDITIONAL SHIPPING WILL APPLY. IMPORTANT INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING UPDATE

Unfortunately, due to current world situations, Cuddle Me: A Little Shop is only able to ship within the United States and is unable to ship international, including Canada and the UK. Please understand these matters are out of Cuddle Me: A Little Shop's control. Cuddle Me: A Little Shop apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. 

SHIPPING DETAILS

BILLING: The charge on your bank account should come up as CMALS.

PACKAGING: Your package will ship in a plain brown box or plain white bubble mailer via USPS with CMALS for the return address.

SHIPPING POLICIES: Shipping Methods and Accept/Agree

1. US Domestic Shipping (For Any Package)

All packages are insured and will generally arrive within 1 week.  

By selecting this shipping option, you AGREE AND ACCEPT:

  • That actual transit times may vary

  • The risk of lost, damaged, or missing packages 

  • That I, the shop, am not responsible or liable for any lost, damaged, or missing packages

  • That a claim may only be filed if criteria is met (see exceptions below) and I am not responsible hold no liability for the outcome of the claim

  • NOTE: UPS Shipping maybe used for XL and Jumbo Chonkies. No PO Boxes.

IN ADDITION TO ANY OF THE ABOVE SHIPPING METHODS, YOU AGREE AND ACCEPT:

  • That you must submit a full, complete and accurate address

  • That I am not responsible for incomplete and inaccurate address

  • That if an item is “Returned to Sender” due to customer error, the purchaser must pay for the shipping again or accept a return with a 25% Restocking Fee for my time that was invested. Shipping WILL NOT be refunded.

  • That I will NOT refund packages that were misdelivered due to wrong address, and I will NOT refund lost, damaged or missing packages (this is why there is insurance).

  • That I will NOT refund shipping.

  • That in an event that a package becomes lost, damaged, or missing, you will contact your local post office within 24 – 48 of delivery or the expected delivery date (when applicable).

  • That a damage package is the box itself has been crushed, cut, or damaged to the point that it causes the contents to be damaged.

  • That a lost package is a package that has never arrived and been marked delivered.

  • That a missing package is generally a lost package or a potentially stolen package.

  • These statements will be used as evidence if need be.

 

Insurance/Claims does not provide coverage for the following:

  • Loss, damage, shortage, or non-arrival of any package and its contents which is addressed incorrectly or packed insufficiently to withstand the normal rigors of transit.

 

OTHER SHIPPING FAQS
When will my order arrive?

Premade items will be shipped within 1 week after your order is received. Made-To-Order items will ship after completion of the product, which can be between 3 – 4 weeks. Once shipped, domestic packages generally will arrive in less than 1 week. Canada and International packages shipping times vary from country to country. Please see the above Shipping Policies for more detail on shipping methods.

EXCES SHIPPING REFUNDS WILL ALWAYS BE ISSUED FOR COMBINING ORDERS WHEN APPLICABLE.

HOLIDAY/CHRISTMAS DELIVERY

This is strictly about SHIPPING TIMES, NOT PORCESSING TIMES.

Reminder! As always, I do not guarantee Christmas delivery. This is strictly because of previous experience with the Holiday season and the mass influx of packages at the post office, which is out of my control and not responsible for. In the same holiday season, I have had packages arrive in less than a week and some that have taken 4 weeks to arrive in the USA and even longer for international. Processing times have not changed. Premade items will be shipped within 1 week. In most cases, it is within 3 days. This is all dependent on when the payment actually clears. Ultimately, it is better to order sooner rather than later.

REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES

REGULAR RETURNS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

I always keep quality in mind through the entire process of creating these handmade stuffies. I then thoroughly inspect each product again before shipping to ensure the upmost quality and that is the best I have done. If I feel that it is not up to my high standards, I will not sell or send out the chonky/chubby in question. If it is an MTO, I will contact you if a delay will occur from remaking the product. This has been a very slim occurrence.

NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR MAY AND CAN HAPPEN LIKE ANY OTHER ITEM PURCHASED FROM ANY STORE. ROUGH HOUSING, SUCH AS TUGGING ON PARTS OR HOLDING THE CHONKY/CHUBBY BY THE ARM/LEG/TAIL/EAR, AND SLEEPING WITH CHUBBY IS NOT ADVISED! THESE ARE HANDMADE ITEMS!


THE RETURN POLICIES APPLY TO CHONKY/CHUBBY PURCHASES, KEY-CHAINS, AND BLANKIES ONLY! NOR WILL I ACCEPT RETURNS FOR REASONS OTHER THAN STATED! I WILL STRICTLY ADHERE TO THESE POLICIES! NO EXCEPTIONS! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE AND DENY ANY RETURN. ALL POLICIES WILL BE ADHERED TO. NO EXCEPTIONS.

If by chance your product arrives damaged and the box visibly seems to be the cause, this means the box itself has been damaged to the point where it has caused damaged to the contents, you must first contact your local post office about a claim, and then contact me. If you are an International Customer, please contact me first as I am the one who must start the claim (applicable for Priority International Only, see shipping methods). THIS MUST BE DONE WITHIN 24 – 48 HOURS OF DELIVERY.

If the product arrives damaged and the box does not seem to be the cause, please contact me within 24 – 48 hours. I will then ask for photographic evidence and will determine whether it warrants for a fix visit or return.

If a product becomes damaged (VALID FOR THE FIRST 2 WEEKS AFTER DELIVERY), and I determine the damage is due to a SUBSTANTIAL ERROR on my part, I will warrant either a fix visit or return depending on the situation. I will ask for evidence of the damage as well as when it occurred. If I feel that the item as been tampered with, you will be denied the fix visit or return.


SUBSTANTIAL ERROR is something that has affected the integrity of the plush itself and it was miss sewn. Under arm/leg or center back body seams popping is not a substantial error and is only caused by chonkies/chubbies being rough handled and squeezed too tightly. It is not a valid error.

CHONKY SPECIFIC: Chonkies have their arms sewn to their body. If the thread snaps, it does not count as a failure as it does not change the integrity of the plush. You may either leave it and have the arms open, or resew it back in place, with a simple and basic loop sewing technique. 

OTHER REFUNDS:

Due to the size of Chonkies, only the Small Size is able to ship in twos and can warrant an excess shipping refund. Each Medium and Large Chonky will ship individually despite if multiple are ordered. This is because the size of the box needed actually triples the cost of shipping. So ultimately, you are saving on shipping with them shipping separately. 

GENERAL FAQS

What is a Chonky? A Chonky is the new plush I have designed and created. The pattern used is 100% my own. Chonkies are currently available as Bears, Bunnies, Koalas, and Alien Versions of Bears and Bunnies. 

What are the sizes for the Chonky Bears?

Chonky Bears come in Small 14in, Medium 16in, and Large 18in. 

What is a Tummy Time Chonky Bear? A Tummy Time Chonky Bear is a 16in Chonky Bear that has a vinyl tummy panel filled with fake sprinkles. They are an outlet to let my creativity be. Most of the time, they will be one of a kind. There is a potential that popular designs may be recreated in the future. 

What is a Chubby? A Chubby is the name of the stuffed animals I used to make. I left the name in the FAQs since I had made them for 4 years. 

What is a Happy Mallow? Happy Mallows are tiny (or medium or large) marshmallow friends that I created. The patterns and accessories for them are 100% made by me.


What is a Made-To-Order Item? A Made-To-Order Item is any item that has the words “Made-To-Order” in the title. You can customize the item with available add-ons. Please remember to select the right listing when purchasing any item and read the descriptions.


Why is most everything made-to-order? Most everything is made-to-order to allow for max customization! This is done by choosing your fabric/colors and extras when available.


Do you do customs? I do not offer customs, because there are so many customization options for Made-To-Order Chubbies.


When will “Blank” be available? OLD ANSWER: Rotating stock thing? Because I am a complete one-woman operation, I must limit the quantity of the fabrics and MTO products I can take on each release so that I don’t become overwhelmed and am able to make sure everything is made in a timely fashion. This why I can’t release/have everything in-stock all the time and stock is on a rotating schedule, ideally bi weekly. I would never be able to keep up with orders and wait times would exceed greatly from my normal turn-around times. Most fabrics can be assumed that it is a one-time, limited fabric that won’t be restocked. Fabrics that will be guaranteed restocked will be popular solid colors and popular/fan favorite prints. Remember, everything is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE.

NEW ANSWER: I am slowly working on bringing back and chonkifying items that were once available for chubbies. Not all items and options will return, but I will do my best to provide as many as I can.  


When will my order ship? Processing times are the following: Regular MTOs 3-4 weeks. Deluxe Fabric MTOs 4-6 weeks, XL/Jumbo (will come back in the future) 4-8 weeks. Generally, orders ship sooner than the above. It is all based on the number of orders I receive. I also usually update processing times on the shop's Instagram page.

WEIGHTED CHONKY/CHUBBY POLICIES
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THE SHOP IS 18+ BUT THE FOLLOWING IS A LEGAL LIABILITY SITUATION AND MUST BE SAID. Weighted chonkies/chubbies are not to be given to children under the age of 5, and those older than 5 without adult supervision. Weighted chonkies/chubbies are for therapeutic purposes only. Cuddle Me: A Little Shop does not claim that weighted chonkies/chubbies cure or treat any conditions. Weighted chonkies/chubbies are to be held and carried ONLY by the body. DO NOT hold the weighted chonkies/chubby by the arms, legs, tails, just the head, ears, and/or wings of any sort (bat, bat, or angel.) CUDDLE ME: A LITTLE SHOP IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MISUSE OF THE PRODUCT.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

If your Chonky, Chubby, Happy Mallow, Keychain or Blankie is dirtied, spot clean plush with a damp rag and a little soap as soon as possible. Let air dry. A small amount of Hydrogen Peroxide can be used depending on the type dirt.

 

For Tutus: Remember to gently shake out and fluff the tutu upon arrival. Do not over stretch the tutu while putting it on the chubby.
